I never knew killing a cockroach required so much energy. I could swear I lost a few calories just trying to murder that DAMNED bug.
Was happily brushing my teeth when from the corner of my eye I spotted a Black/Brown (mind you I couldn't see clearly. My contacts were off what??) okay, anyway, it was scampering across the kitchen floor and I was so totally shou mang jiao luan (direct translation for hand busy leg messy) Hmm.. And I went hysterical screaming "Oh shit!! Tiffy, got COCKroach!" she came rushing into the kitchen. "WHERE?!" "Under the cabinet beside the fridge."
We had a plan. She would grab the HUNTER spray while I took our protective gear- our towels. Cover our mouth lest that filthy thing flies into our mouths, we didn't want that for sure.
So we set out on our mission (but before that we wore the kitchen slippers.) Psssssst Psssst Pssst..Psst.. my sister sprayed while I watched it wither and swirl but never did we anticipate it flying.
"ARGH! ArgH!"
"SHIT!"
"IT’S FLYING HERE!"
"No! No! WAIT! IT'S STOPPED!"
Inched towards the scene and...it scampered and darted out of the kitchen into the hallway, down the alley and into my brothers room. It was pitch dark. (We were making a hell lot of noise that mummy woke up) "You go in, quick kill it before it crawls on Shawn." "NO.. I don't dare!" LAUGHS. Lauughs. By then, the master bedroom door opened, (we kicked the kitchen slippers off hiding them in our room because they were not meant for OUTSIDE the kitchen) my mum looked aloof
"What are you' all up to? Go and sleep Now!"
"But.. but the cockroach is in the room!"
"Go and sleep! NOW!"
This morning I went into his room to check where it was and it's still missing.
