Work is damn blissful today maybe because the lady in charge of me (Alice) is on an urgent leave. I was sniggering in my heart when Zul told me that. hahaha so officially work ended the moment I stepped into office!
Last Friday, she assigned me to rearrange a file, do a signing slip and a cover note for it. I rearranged the file then I noticed there was already a cover note so.. I asked Zul.
: Zul.. there's already a cover note. Alice told me to do a cover note but there is one here already..
Zul: Sorry? Maybe she wants you to do the cover note for this year?? Bruce! HELP!
(Bruce enters the scene. I showed him the file. He crosses over to my side- my cubicle.)
(Bruce flips the papers. I waited ad waited and stoned.)
Bruce: Don't you have anything else to do?
:Nope.
Bruce: So.. What did you do in Australia?
: Visited my relatives for THIRTY SEVEN days.....
Bruce: Woah.. Which part of Australia? Sydney?
:hahaha.. I wish arh.. It was quite boring..
Bruce: You could have taken a domestic flight around what?
: OH yeah.. but my parents didnt want to
(He clearly doesn't know what to assign me to do, hence the casual chat.)
(AFTER 5 mins...)
Bruce: I think you just update these following changes can already larh..
So changes it was. I did them in like 3 minutes?? Printed. Filed. And back to nothing to do AGAIN.
It was true, I suppose, what was said- that I didn't understand.
